Profhilo Dubai pricing, in every clinic price list I have checked, runs from AED 1,299 for a hospital package to AED 3,499 at a premium clinic, per session. Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid that spreads under the skin and prompts collagen and elastin production. The standard course is two sessions, four weeks apart.
This guide is general information, not medical advice. Profhilo is a regulated cosmetic-medical treatment in Dubai: consult a DHA-licensed clinic about your suitability and risks before booking.
What Profhilo actually does under the skin
I have read a dozen Dubai clinic pages on this treatment and almost every one calls it a filler somewhere. Correcting that before you book changes what you should expect to see in the mirror.
Profhilo is hyaluronic acid at a high concentration, made by the Swiss pharmaceutical group IBSA using a heat-based process called NAHYCO. That process binds high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid into stable complexes without BDDE, the chemical cross-linking agent used in most gel fillers.
A filler is a gel. It stays roughly where the needle puts it and rebuilds volume in a specific place: a cheek, a lip, a temple. Profhilo behaves the other way. It is fluid enough to spread through the tissue around each injection point, draws water into the dermis, and over the following weeks signals the skin to make more collagen and elastin.
Clinics sell that mechanism as bio remodelling. Patients describe the outcome as skin that looks better hydrated and slightly firmer, with no change to the shape of the face.
Delivery is standardised too. The practitioner uses five Bio Aesthetic Points on each side of the face, ten injections in total, chosen because they sit in low vascular risk areas and diffuse widely from few entries. A session takes twenty to thirty minutes.
What Profhilo costs in Dubai, and what the price buys
Profhilo pricing is the part no UAE page answers properly. Search the cost question and Google hands you three London clinics quoting pounds. So here is the Dubai picture, taken from published clinic price pages in August 2026.
| What is on offer | Typical price per session | What that usually includes |
|---|---|---|
| Hospital day surgery package | AED 1,299 | One session plus the doctor consultation |
| Three sessions prepaid | AED 1,390 | Per-session rate when you commit up front |
| Standard clinic session, mid market | AED 1,200 to AED 2,000 | One session with a DHA-licensed doctor |
| Standard clinic session, upper market | AED 1,500 to AED 2,500 | Brand-led clinics on prime addresses |
| Premium consultant-led session | AED 2,499 to AED 3,499 | Senior injector, DIFC, Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah addresses |
| Two-session starter course | AED 2,500 to AED 6,999 total | The protocol most clinics actually recommend |
Read that table by the course, not by the session. The Profhilo price Dubai clinics advertise is almost always a single-session rate, and one session is half a protocol. Budget for two, then a top-up every six to nine months, and the honest first-year figure sits between AED 3,700 and AED 10,000 depending on where you go.
Below roughly AED 1,200 a session, ask what you are being injected with. A hyaluronic acid injection Dubai clinics sell as a generic skin booster is a different product, and the price gap explains itself.
Profhilo results, week by week
Profhilo results follow a schedule, and knowing it stops you panicking on day three.
- Hours 0 to 24: ten small raised bumps at the injection points. They flatten as the product disperses. Occasional bruising, redness or tenderness.
- Days 3 to 5: the hydration effect starts. Skin feels plumper and reflects light better. This is water, not collagen.
- Weeks 4 to 8: the collagen and elastin response builds after the second session. This is where firmness and texture change, and it is the point at which most people decide whether Profhilo worked.
- Months 6 to 9: the hyaluronic acid has broken down naturally. Without a top-up the effect fades back to baseline.
Published trials of these hybrid complexes measure improvements in skin elasticity, roughness and laxity rather than wrinkle depth. That distinction matters. If your concern is a deep nasolabial fold or a hollow cheek, Profhilo is the wrong product and a good injector will tell you so.
Profhilo vs Botox, and where each one helps
The Profhilo vs Botox question comes up constantly. They do unrelated jobs.
Botulinum toxin relaxes the muscle that creases the skin. It works on movement lines: forehead, frown, crow’s feet. It does nothing for skin quality. Our Botox in Dubai guide covers dosing units, pricing and how the regulation works there, and the two treatments are frequently done in the same appointment because they target different layers.
Profhilo works on the skin itself: hydration, elasticity, firmness. It will not soften a frown line that appears when you move. Neither treatment lifts. Anybody promising a lift from either is selling you something else under the wrong name.
On safety, both carry the ordinary injectable risks of bruising, swelling and infection at the injection site. Botulinum toxin adds a small risk of temporary muscle weakness spreading beyond the target. Hyaluronic acid adds a small risk of vascular occlusion, which is why the five-point technique deliberately avoids high-risk zones.
In Dubai the variable that moves risk most is who is holding the syringe. Browse the botox injection providers and the dermal filler providers on our directory to see how differently venues present their injector credentials.
Jalupro, Rejuran and the rest of the skin booster shelf
The skin booster Dubai clinics stock is rarely one product. Bio remodelling Dubai menus now list several injectables that all promise better skin quality through different chemistry, and the names get used interchangeably by reception staff who do not inject.
- Jalupro: hyaluronic acid combined with amino acids that act as building blocks for collagen. Jalupro Dubai courses usually run four sessions rather than two, at a lower price per session.
- Rejuran: polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA, aimed at repair and inflammation rather than hydration. Rejuran Dubai protocols typically run three sessions, and it is the one most often chosen for acne-damaged or reactive skin.
- Collagen stimulators: polycaprolactone and poly-L-lactic acid build volume over months by provoking a collagen response. Different goal entirely, and closer to a filler in outcome.
- Mesotherapy cocktails: vitamins and hyaluronic acid mixed in clinic. Cheapest option, least standardised, and the one where the product in the syringe varies most between venues.
None of these is a straight upgrade on Profhilo. They are different tools, and the sensible question for a consultation is which one matches your concern, not which one is newest. If your skin is dehydrated and losing bounce, this is the category. If the issue is scarring or pigmentation, PRP sits closer to the problem.
Who should skip it
Clinic pages list benefits at length and contraindications in a footnote. The list is short and worth reading before you pay a deposit.
Skip Profhilo, or get medical clearance first, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, allergic to hyaluronic acid, have a bleeding disorder or take anticoagulants, have an active skin infection, inflammation or cold sore in the treatment area, or have facial surgery planned within the next year. Active chemical peels, laser courses or microdermabrasion should be finished before you start.
One more filter: if what bothers you in photographs is volume loss or a sagging jawline, this treatment will disappoint you at AED 2,500. Say so at the consultation and let the injector match the tool to it.
Who may legally inject it in Dubai, and where the clinics are
Two licences apply, and they are not interchangeable. Any venue trading in Dubai holds a Department of Economy and Tourism trade licence. That covers the business, not the medicine.
Injecting Profhilo additionally requires a Dubai Health Authority health facility licence for the premises and a DHA practitioner licence for the person holding the syringe. A beauty salon with a DET trade licence and no DHA facility licence cannot legally offer this treatment, whatever the price list says. Ask for both. A clinic that treats the question as reasonable is the clinic you want.
Injectable work concentrates in a handful of areas, each with a different character.
| Area | What sits there | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai Healthcare City | Hospital-affiliated dermatology and day surgery units | Anyone who wants a dermatologist rather than an aesthetic GP |
| Jumeirah | Villa clinics and consultant-led aesthetic practices | Premium pricing, longer consultations, senior injectors |
| Dubai Marina | Tower clinics with heavy package promotions | Mid-market pricing and evening appointment slots |

What happens at an appointment, and aftercare in Dubai heat
A first Profhilo appointment runs about forty five minutes including the consultation. Numbing cream goes on for fifteen to twenty minutes, the injector marks the ten points, and the injections themselves take a few minutes. You leave with visible bumps and instructions.
Dubai adds two aftercare variables that European clinic pages never mention. The first is heat. Steam rooms, saunas, hammams and long stretches outdoors in August raise the risk of swelling and should wait seventy two hours.
The second is air conditioning, which runs dry and constant in most Dubai apartments and offices, and pulls moisture out of skin that has just been treated to hold more of it. Drink more water than feels necessary for the first week and the hydration phase shows up better.
The rest is standard: no makeup for six hours, no touching or massaging the treated area, no strenuous exercise for twenty four hours, no alcohol for the first day, and sunscreen every morning. Book the second session before you leave the clinic: the four week gap is part of the protocol, not a scheduling preference.

Is Profhilo worth it in Dubai?
Profhilo is worth it if your complaint is skin quality and you can commit to the full course and a top-up. It is not worth it if you want a structural change, if you can only afford one session, or if you were sold it as a lift.
Two things should shape the decision. The first is that the effect is temporary by design, so the real cost is annual rather than one time.
The second is the FDA claim. Several Dubai clinic pages describe Profhilo as FDA approved. It is not. The product carries a CE mark in Europe, and IBSA signed a US licensing agreement with Evolus in July 2026 to begin the work required for American approval. The FDA reference on those pages points at the Italian manufacturing site, which holds US site registration, and not at the product in the syringe. How carefully a clinic writes about that is a fair test of how carefully it works.
